Applicants who are at least minimally qualified will possess the following required qualification, which must be reflected in your cover letter or resume:
  •  Work experience programming VHF/UHF and 800/900 MHz equipment

Best-qualified candidates will also possess the following preferred qualifications, which must be reflected in your cover letter or resume if applicable:
  •  Work experience providing technical support for a large fleet of communication equipment
     manufactured by Bendix King, Kenwood, Harris-Unity, Master III, and EF Johnson.
     A “large fleet” is equivalent to the size required by a county or larger organization. Please
     include specific manufacturers in your response.
  •  Radio communications experience related to forest fire management or
     law enforcement activities
