Assessment Welcome and Instructions

Thank you for your interest in employment with the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs’ Veterans Home at King. To be considered for this position, you must complete the online application process.

Assessment Questions: This position requires a current State of Wisconsin Nurse Aide Certification and the person has to have the ability to attend orientation, work extra hours, work a weekend pattern, and be mandated for additional shifts. For further consideration for a Nursing Assistant 2 position at our Veterans Home, you must respond yes to questions # 1 or 3, 5 and 6 below.

Resume: Attaching your resume is a critical and required part of the application process.

Completion: After you have answered the questions, click the ‘Save and Finalize’ button at the bottom of the page to save your responses in the system, and then the ‘Finalize’ button on the next window to finalize the assessment. After you have successfully completed and finalized your application, you will receive an email confirmation. If you do not receive an email, you may not have finished all of the steps correctly. 5. Our Nursing Assistants are required to attend a week of classroom orientation with the core hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. Nursing Assistants are also required to work a weekend pattern in addition to all shifts, additional shifts and extra hours.
