The Student Diversity Internship Program is offered by the State of Wisconsin. The Division of Personnel Management program provides students of diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds, female students, students with disabilities, and Veterans that are students an opportunity to work in a professional work environment within Wisconsin state government. This is a paid internship which provides students with valuable work experience and training in various branches of state government. Many of the interns have been successful in obtaining employment in state government as limited term (LTE) or permanent state employees.

To participate in the 2020 Student Diversity Internship Program, students must be a Wisconsin resident and currently attending, or plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college/university or a vocational/technical school program in the 2020/2021 school year.

Position Summary:   Job duties will vary depending on the applicant’s area of interest and the positions available in each job category.

In order to be considered for an LTE Intern position, you must be a resident of the State of Wisconsin.
