The Department of Military Affairs is seeking an individual with a large scale custodial experience to apply for our custodian position at Volk Field in Camp Douglas.  Volk Field is conveniently located right off the interstate 15 minutes south of Tomah and 30 minutes north of Wisconsin Dells.  Typical Schedule 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM (Monday-Friday) with 30 minute unpaid lunch.

Position Summary:   This is manual semi-skilled work associated directly with the performance of a variety of custodial tasks such as cleaning, sweeping, mopping, waxing, vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash, etc. Work is performed under the guidance of a Custodian Lead or under the supervision of a Custodial Services Supervisor.

Special Notes:   

Candidate must have valid driver's license and be able to obtain military security clearance upon hire.

 Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds, ability to stand for long periods of time, able to climb, crawl, bend, reach, and twist without a problem.


Qualified applicants will have training/education and/or experience with cleaning.

Well Qualified Applicants will have large scale cleaning experience, and knowledge of health regulations/cleaning standards.
