The starting salary is $12.95 per hour. The pay schedule/range is 03/09. This is an LTE appointment and is limited to 1039 hours in a year. Pay for current State of WI employees will be based on the compensation plan in effect at the time of appointment.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS); Winnebago Mental Health Institute(WMHI) is recruiting for multiple temporary Food Service Assistant (FSA) positions in the Cafeteria.
Part-Time and Full-Time Available. Flexible hours. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Shifts between the hours of 6:00 am - 6:30 pm. Weekend availability a plus!
These positions are eligible for an additional $0.45 for hours worked between 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, and a weekend differential of $0.60 for hours worked between midnight Friday to midnight Sunday.
WMHI is a psychiatric hospital providing quality mental health services to children, adolescents and adults. The facility has a beautiful campus located on Lake Winnebago with adjacent walking paths by the lake for employees to use during break periods. Wisconsin residency is required for LTE positions.
No more than 1039 hours may be worked in a 12 month year.
The FSA2 (Cafeteria) serves quantity foods, cafeteria style, for approximately 200 people including individuals with modified diets. Duties include assembling trays and nourishments for patients; monitoring sanitation and safety; and upholding the security in cafeteria areas.

All appointees will be required to receive a TB screen and other pre-employment health assessments prior to their start date.
These positions have physical requirements which may include but are not limited to lifting up to 45 lbs. in the cafeteria and up to 75 lbs. in the kitchen, bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling, stooping, standing, sitting and working on feet for extended periods of time. Applicants may be required to pass a physical evaluation to assess these requirements.
