Salary:	Minimum starting salary is at least $135,383 per year plus excellent benefits. A 12-month probationary period is required. This position is in pay schedule and range 10-50.
Special Qualifications:	1. Possession of license to practice dentistry in the State of Wisconsin at time of employment. 2. Must be certified in basic CPR and achieve annual recertification. A dentist with a license in good standing in any U.S. state can apply for a license in Wisconsin by submitting an application to the Dept of Regulation & Licensing. (www.drl.state.wi.us) It costs about $60 and takes at least two months to acquire.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:   Thorough knowledge of the theory, principles and practice of general dentistry.  Skill in performing required dental procedures.  Must be physically able to perform with a high degree of skill the dental procedures described in this Position Description.  Ability to guide performance, monitor and evaluate the work of ancillary dental personnel.  Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associate personnel and services and to function in a team approach to health problems.  Interest in keeping abreast of new developments in dental and correctional health care and to participate in continuing education.
