Department of Health Services (DHS); Division of Enterprise Services (DES); Bureau of Information and Technology Services (BITS) in Madison.

Job Duties:   

This position functions as a technical specialist for DHS, supporting a variety of systems and services in conjunction with multiple service providers and service level agreements.  This position is involved in the planning, implementation, maintenance, and problem resolution across multiple computer platforms, operating systems, and application software in a state consolidated environment.  This position is responsible for the management of technical standards, technology research and evaluation, automation of technical services, desktop application deployment, desktop image management, and group policy management.  This position functions as a team lead or technical advisor as needed for various applications, systems, peripherals, and services.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:   

Knowledge of multi and cross-platform systems; desktop application deployment tools and methods such as LANDesk; developing standardized application packages; developing and maintaining standard Windows desktop computer images; and Microsoft Windows server and Active Directory.  Skills in oral and written communication; documentation; troubleshooting; and team leadership.

3) Developing and maintaining desktop, laptop and/or tablet images.  Please include the number of years of experience and the technologies used to create and/or maintain the images (for example – Ghost, Acronis True Image).
