The Department of Children and Families (DCF) is currently recruiting for five Attorney – Limited Term Employment (LTE) positions in the Secretary’s Office in Madison. 

Job Duties:   

These positions provide legal advice, counsel and representation on matters relating to policies, procedures, and litigation.  These positions support the Department in fair hearing decisions regarding child care shares related suspensions and child care licensing revocations.  In addition, these positions will support Department efforts related to the Child Care Task Force in Milwaukee and with other program integrity initiatives of the Department.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:   

Knowledge of legal research techniques and ability to perform discovery.  Ability to interpret and understand statutes, rules, and regulations.  Ability to draft legal documents, and argue legal aspects both orally and in writing.
