Type of Employment:	Seasonal (minimum of 600 hrs/year but less than 1828 hrs/year)
Salary:	$14.078 per hour
Special Qualifications:	This position requires frequent travel throughout the state. The selected intern must be able to provide their own transportation for work assignments and must meet state driver eligibility requirements.

Wisconsin’s Pest Survey Program provides timely information on the abundance, distribution and seasonal dynamics of established economic pests and diseases of field crops.  During the growing season, our team of entomologists and plant pathologists conduct specialized surveys in corn, potatoes, soybeans, snap beans, small grains, and alfalfa.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:   · Basic knowledge of plant pathology, nematology, horticulture or agronomy.
· Basic knowledge of Wisconsin agricultural crops and crop production practices.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Access
