Under the direction of the department’s Performance Measure Manager, provide recommendations on measure selection, performance analysis, and research into best practices on performance measurement, and solutions which integrate with process improvement and quality program efforts for DOT, division, bureau, and cross-divisional customers. This position will ensure consistent and timely delivery of performance measure and Lean Six Sigma results on the Department’s Internet site. Working either individually or as a member of a team this position will conduct other department level policy analysis, planning, program evaluation, and analytic tasks of other programs. A six-month probationary period is required. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Quality improvement principles and practices; program analysis and evaluation methodologies; Lean Six Sigma methodology; meeting facilitation skills including leading Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping events; Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; mathematical and statistical processing methods, including trend analysis, statistical significance and data normalization; oral and written communication skills; ability to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships; and research skills.
