Starting pay for this position is $28.560
to $41.500 per hour (approximately
$59,633 to $86,652 per year) depending on qualifications. This position is in pay
schedule 07, range 33. A six month
probationary period is required.

Job Duties: This position is responsible for building relationships and acting as a liaison between other technical teams and content areas. This position is also responsible for providing technical expertise and assistance regarding the analysis, development and maintenance of components for various data warehouse and decision support projects including those that support school districts, schools, and classrooms as well as state and federal reporting. The primary framework for the environment is the Edvantage K-12 data warehouse model, extract, transformation and load (ETL) framework, and dashboards and the Microsoft business intelligence toolset, i.e., SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). This position will be responsible for developing dashboards and reports; working with the SQL Server data warehouse; conducting ad hoc data analysis; creating SQL queries and scripts; and working with SQL Server and Oracle technologies in addition to SSIS, SSRS, and Team Foundation Server (TFS).
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices; data analysis techniques; data warehouse infrastructure including application servers, web servers, product configuration including security administration; SQL Server and Oracle database technologies; data verification and problem solving techniques; ETL solutions using batch processing and job stream development; complex data analysis and reporting technique; metadata frameworks; data warehouse and decision support systems design and development; and security administration in business intelligence products. Ability to code using SQL and PL/SQL functions; to create SSIS packages, SSRS reports, and data dashboards; to use Team Foundation Server for source control; to perform systems analysis and design; to retrieve, analyze, and interpret data from a variety of sources; to perform quality assurance; to work in a team collaborative environment; and to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
