Starting pay is between $54,080 and $70,720 annually ($26 - $34 per hour). Pay on appointment for current or former state employees may vary based on the applicable provisions in the State Compensation Plan. This position is in Pay Schedule/Range 15-03.

This Advanced Air Management Specialist position will manage, develop, and enhance Air Program Emission Inventory data systems. This is an analyst position that serves as the statewide expert for the Air Reporting System (ARS) and lead for processing annual emissions for stationary sources. This position is responsible for submitting all final data for Wisconsin to EPA via Enterprise Network and presenting the results of the reporting year to the Air Management and EM Division Teams.
Employment will require the selected candidate to pass a background check. DNR does not sponsor work visas, thus, in compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify eligibility to work in the United States by completing the required I-9 form upon hire.
To be considered for this position, required qualifications include: - Relational database management and querying experience - Experience or training in environmental science or chemistry - Experience translating technical information to non-technical audiences
