Pay is between $14.26 - $23.52/hour ($29,660 - $48,921 annually). Pay on appointment for current or former state employees may vary based on the applicable provisions in the State Compensation Plan. This position provides administrative support to the Secretary’s Office representatives located in Northeast Region, including the Secretary’s Director and the Field Integration Team Leader. This position serves as liaison to various Department groups and external groups, coordinates special events, and supports the effective operation of the Regional headquarters complex and Regional programs.
Responsibilities for this position include: - Providing complex administrative support for the Office of the Secretary's Director - Managing incoming information, draft, and track correspondence for the region - Meeting and event coordination - Ensuring effective operations for the region, such as managing office supply inventory, fleet vehicles, organizing files, etc.

Qualified candidates must meet the minimum standards to operate a state owned vehicle, which include the following: - Must have a valid operator's license - Must have minimum of two years licensed driving experience - Must be eighteen (18) years of age
If your driving record reflects any of the following conditions you may not drive a state vehicle: Three or more moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past two years, an Operating While Intoxicated (OWI)/Driving Under the Influence (DUI) citation within 12 months, or Suspension or revocation of driver's license.
Required skills include the following: - Experience using the Microsoft (MS) Office Suite programs - Experience providing administrative support for multiple individuals or teams within an organization - Experience composing, editing, formatting, and updating various types of correspondence
