Salary:
Starting salary is between $37.05 and $40.51 per hour plus excellent benefits. The position at the Dodge Infirmary pays between $40.51 and $44.30 per hour. A 12-month probationary period is required. This position is in pay schedule & range 11-22.
Special Qualifications:
Must be licensed as a Professional Nurse by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing. Must be certified or eligible for certification as a nurse practitioner by a national certifying body approved by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing and eligible for prescriptive authority in the State of Wisconsin.

Job Duties:   

Assess and treat offenders under the professional direction of the Physician; independent management of direct and indirect care of offenders in collaboration with all disciplines employed or practicing within the Health Services Unit; plan, develop, implement and evaluate health care, education programs, and protocols to meet the needs of offenders with complex medical and/or psychiatric conditions.
