Thank you for your interest in employment with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. To be considered for these positions you MUST customize and upload your LTE Conservation Warden Application and resume to the qualifications of this position. Your resume must be limited to a maximum of two (2) typewritten pages. Page limitations are based on margins no smaller than 0.5 and type no smaller than a 10-point Times New Roman font. Pages more than the specified limit will not be evaluated. References are not necessary at this time.  In your resume, be sure to describe your background, education, certification, or training as it relates to your qualifications regarding the position. In order to be considered for this position, you must complete the following eleven (11) questions. As you go through the exam, be sure to click "Save and Continue" after you complete each page of the exam. Note: each page will time out after 20 minutes, so be sure to click "Save" often to avoid losing your answers. Positions included in this classification have duties and responsibilities of such a nature that it is required (by federal or state law or by position analysis) that the incumbent be able to obtain Law Enforcement Standards Board's (LESB) credentialing as a Law Enforcement Officer. These questions are mandatory and will determine if you meet the minimum qualifications to be able to obtain LESB certification, and you must pass this section of the exam to move on to the final questions. If you are unable to pass the questions, you will be ineligible for further consideration. 10. Appointees will be required to meet all standards for certification as a peace officer in Wisconsin and meet all standards to annually maintain this certification.  Appointees may be involved in the use of force, up to and including the use of deadly force. Appointees will be required to carry, maintain competency in, and use department issued firearms and other equipment used for the self-defense and the defense of others.
