The starting hourly rate for the Media Supervisor Advanced position will be between $24.00 and $34.00 depending on the selected candidate’s previous experience and qualifications, plus excellent benefits. This classification is assigned to pay schedule/range 81-03. A 12-month probationary period will be required.

The Educational Communications Board (ECB) is a state agency which delivers educational, noncommercial and public safety media via Wisconsin Public Radio and PBS Wisconsin. The ECB is seeking an experienced field technician to oversee daily operations for delivering and maintaining access to our statewide broadcast networks in southwest Wisconsin. Position Summary: This is a complex technical supervisory position responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of a wide range of predominately high power Radio Frequency electronic equipment and systems for the ECB including TV, Broadcast Interconnect, EAS, AMBER, FM, State/Federal All Hazards Radio, satellite downlink systems, and Wisconsin Public Radio facilities in Southwest Wisconsin. This position is responsible for all regional system and facility installation and maintenance activities in accordance with FCC rules and regulations and adhering to all contractual obligations while upholding the highest of safety and reliability standards. Installation, operation, and maintenance of state-of-the art broadcast equipment. 3. Working with tower structural and tower worker safety standards as applied to broadcast facilities.
