Starting salary range for this position is (pay schedule 08-03) is between $46,737 and $72,800 per year plus benefits. Salary will depend on qualifications and experience. A 12- month probationary period will be required.

The Wisconsin Technical College System Board (WTCSB) provides oversight, leadership and collaboration opportunities for the 16 technical colleges which make up the Wisconsin Technical College System. Position Summary:   The Senior Research Analyst is responsible for constructing research reports and retrieving data to support System-Wide research and evaluation. This position develops, generates, analyzes, interprets and disseminates educational and economic data for use in the planning and the evaluation of effectiveness of educational services. This position also collaborates with System Office staff to identify data coaching strategies and design professional learning opportunities in support of fostering a culture of evidence. To carry out the responsibilities of this position, the incumbent utilizes exceptional research and statistical analysis skills, a high level of proficiency with computers and education data, and excellent communication and collaboration skills. This position reports to the Associate Vice President of Student Success.

Qualifications:   

Qualified candidates will have:


  • Experience conducting data-based research and evaluation (e.g. data mining, conducting statistical analysis, interpreting results)

  • Experience developing and presenting research and evaluation findings to large and small audiences

  • Experience collaborating with organizational stakeholders

Well-qualified applicants will also have:


  • Experience working higher education

  • Experience working with SPSS Statistics and/or Tableau
