Qualified veterans interested in being considered for a specific job that is posted on Wisc.Jobs must follow the application instructions listed below. Current State employees are not eligible for non-competitive appointment.
- If you have already applied to the Veterans Non-Competitive Appointment job posting (Job ID 3375) within the last 12 months, simply send an email to the HR staff listed in the job posting and mention that your eligibility has been verified and you are interested in the position.
- If you have not already applied to Job ID 3375, follow the application instructions in the How to Apply section of the job posting you're interested in. Additionally, attach your resume, DD-214, and documentation of your service-connected disability rating (dated within the last 12-months) to your online application and send an email indicating your interest in being considered for the Veterans Non-Competitive Appointment program to the HR staff listed in the job posting.
